Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
When it comes to PII, Thanks provides you with granularity to choose which information you would like to share and for what purposes. Our SDK is designed so that we always specify the intended usage for any PII that we request.
The three pre-defined usages are:
relevance: Used at the moment of generating an impression to decide the best offers to show to your customerautofill: Used to streamline the completion of forms by pre-filling provided informationnotification: Used to send a notification or receipt to the customer, such as a purchased ticket or a gift card
Storage
PII is stored regionally in the data centre closest to the customer, as determined by their IP address. We operate three regional databases in the United States (US), United Kingdom (GB) and Australia (AU). The actual personally identifiable values are encrypted using an additional layer of AES256 before being sent to the database.
For more information on our handling of personal information, please refer to our Terms and Privacy Policy .
